Updates

Saylla needs a lot of prayer. The adults are tapering off little by little. Some are losing interest and making work a priority and therefore not attending church services or even discipleship classes. The boys have been encouraged by the children who are super firm. The children are always there and seem to come out of nowhere. Eli and I are hoping to connect with their parents here in the near future. However, they did have one lady baptized this month in Saylla which was encouraging.

Well everyone things are going great. The other week we had 40 regulars come to our church service. It was amazing! We are continuing to visit people, make new contacts and making members. If you all could pray for our local where we hold church services that we could be able to stay? Our contact from that lets us use the restaurant is moving back to Puerto and we would really like to have some place to meet on Sunday's. Thank you all for your continual prayer and support.

Well we are back from vacation and things are still going great. We are just picking up were we left off. Ill keep you updated on things when they happen. Thank you all so much for the prayers and support. God Bless

So Eli and I have come acrosed a big restorant and have now started decipleship classes in it sundays at 6pm. We hope to make it into a church and Im sure that is what will happen. Please pray for this wonderful place that God has blessed us with. Thank you.

I Can see the Fruit

So things are really taking off here in Saylla, we have about 6 strong contacts that we are decipeling and about10 not strong but new contacts. We are now out everyday apart from monday from 8am - 7 or 8pm everyday. Its getting crazy but its teaching me a lot along the lines of serventud and love. Have you ever served any one before? Like really devoted your time to them and life to them? I talking if they call at 1am to come and talk to them you do. Im not just talking about "you get me from 8am - 10am" but everyday serving and just putting your self out there. And the crazy thing is you cant start doing this until you´ve put your self 2nd and put them 1st. We have to learn how to love them more then we love our selfs. Im learning more and more of this everyday. I still have my days like after about 4 hours of work I somethimes feel like just going back to the house. But I push through to love them more than my self. Itshard and I strugel everyday, but thats what we are called to do. So if you could just pray for stangth for my new partner Eli and I that would be awesome. Thankyou so much for you continual support and prayers.

Updates
So my partner Jorge is not returning back to be my partner. And before you ask there was no explanation. So Extreme has another partner for me named Eli. He will be here on the 14th of February, so I guess he is my valentines day present.But no in all reality please pray for us. Eli and I have not really had the greatest run in's in the past and have had our problems. But Im trusting it is Gods will and everything will work out. Also on another note my 20th birthday is on February 11th!!! (Just a reminder).

A Break in the Race

Hey everyone, sorry its been awhile with Christmas / New Years break but lately things have been good. I've been mostly going out to work with Tyler because Jorge took a month off to recuperate for his appendix surgery. But as of right now we have 4 great contacts named Janger, Americo, Patricia and Gregorio. All these people are great and are very happy to be learning about the gospel. Janger is an awesome guy and wants to be a pastor. So soon I will be discipling him to do so. He also has a very big passion for youth and he always asks to come to the church and speak to the youth here. But we don't really have a youth group yet. But when we showed the Felix Vargas film in Urcos we came in contact with a non-denominational youth group that would love for us to be able to come and talk to them. So maybe God's opening the door for Janger to be able to talk and share to the youth he is so passionate for.


Hola a todos, lo siento su sido un rato con las vacaciones de Navidad / Año Nuevo, pero últimamente las cosas han sido buenas. He sido en su mayoría va a trabajar con Tyler porque Jorge tomó un mes de descanso para recuperarse de su cirugía de apéndice. Pero a partir de ahora tenemos 4 grandes contactos con nombre Janger, Américo, Patricia y Gregorio. Todas estas personas son grandes y están muy contentos de estar aprendiendo acerca del Evangelio. Janger es un chico increíble y quiere ser un pastor. Así que pronto se le discipulado para hacerlo. También tiene una pasión muy grande para los jóvenes y siempre pide que venga a la iglesia y hablar a los jóvenes aquí. Pero en realidad no tienen un grupo de jóvenes todavía. Pero cuando nos mostró la película de Félix Vargas en Urcos que entró en contacto con un grupo de jóvenes no confesional que amor por nosotros para poder venir y hablar con ellos. Así que tal vez Dios abriendo la puerta para Janger para poder hablar y compartir con los jóvenes es tan apasionado.
